Sundowners

Sundowners provides a safe and fun environment for students to go to when school is out!

Sundowners After School Club provides pre-booked childcare for school pupils from 3.10pm-6.00pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

All children need to be registered to the club and all places need to be pre-booked.

The club is operated by a team of workers who operate on a rota basis.

The club is overseen by the After School Club Manager at the school, during opening hours.The New JIGSAW Partnership has responsibility for the structure and policies relating to the club.

Our Aims

To create a fun, yet safe environment for all students.

To provide a varied and exciting range of activities for all students to participate in.

To provide care for students, ensuring that parents have confidence in the service provided.

To provide a venue for students to complete homework or other school studies.

What happens at the club?

A wide range of activities are organised by the club staff from Arts and Crafts to Drama and Music workshops, sports and games to various competitions.

We also have the use of a quiet room where students may study and complete homework tasks.

Access to computers and the Internet is also available.

It is hoped that all students will make use of the stimulating atmosphere, join in and learn from their activities as well as benefiting from the staff present. 

Who can come?

All young people from 8-14 are welcome. All students must be registered before attending any sessions that must be pre-booked subject to availability.

Please book your children in at least a week before their attendance to ensure that places are available.

Session Costs

3.10 – 17.00 £7.00 per session

3.10 – 18.00 £8.50 per session

 

Fees are payable by monthly invoice in advance. Please ensure prompt payment in order that we can maintain these rates.  In 2009/10 we will be able to accept Accor and Sodexo Pass Childcare vouchers as payment
