Children’s University™

Childrens University

The West Berkshire Children’s University™ is providing children and young people in Newbury with activities outside normal school hours.  These activities will help develop skills and increase knowledge in a fun and entertaining way.

You don’t have to wait until you’re 18 to be part of this university.
You don’t even have to spend 3 or 4 years living away from home to take part in the fun.

That’s because our activities take place across Newbury and the surrounding area, right on your doorstep. And if you’re between 7 and 14, you can get involved. So whether you’re interested in sport, art, drama, computers or science, look out for the West Berkshire Children’s University™ logo guaranteeing a safe activity that will develop your skills and knowledge.

The first opportunity your children have to achieve credits for the Children’s University™ is through the Sunshine Holiday Club which has now been up and running for a year.  For more information please refer to the Sunshine Holiday Club page of our website.

Over time we will be looking at accrediting learning across the area so you will be able to take your Passport to Learning to any venue displaying a Learning Destination sticker.
